I’ll walk you through the real building blocks of songwriting: lyrics, melody, chords, scale and rhythm, plus the creative techniques, themes and hooks that turn a good idea into a memorable song. You’ll also learn how to capture and finish your songs, choose the structure that fits them, collaborate with other writers, and protect and earn an income from what you create. Whether you’ve never written a song before or you’re ready to start building a catalogue, this is a practical, honest guide drawn from my own years of writing at the piano.
